Growing to Meet the Needs of Our Community
New services, facilities, and technologies are continually added, such as a modern, home-like Women’s Pavilion where more than 2,500 babies are delivered annually and the area’s only Level 3+ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the treatment of critically ill infants. The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Cancer Institute is designed for the care, comfort and convenience of our patients, it is the only facility of its kind in northeastern Maryland to offer a full range of oncology services in a single location.
Franklin Square is a top provider for vascular procedures in Maryland. Every day, our team of vascular surgeons performs the most advanced surgical techniques and minimally invasive endovascular procedures in our state-of-the-art Endovascular Suite.
More than 14,500 surgeries are performed annually at Franklin Square. In addition to an Ambulatory Surgery Center for same-day procedures, our operating rooms have been equipped to perform technologically advanced surgical procedures including vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, oncology and neurosurgery.
