Looking for Energy Efficient Windows?
It’s
SIMPLE…
The ENERGY STAR label the symbol for energy efficiency - makes
choosing high performance, energy efficient windows simple.
Consumers no longer need to be concerned with companies
claiming their windows have this R-value, that air-infiltration
or boasting about other confusing or misleading data. A
window with the ENERGY STAR label is your assurance that
it is a tested and certified high performance product that
can significantly reduce annual home energy bills. ENERGY
STAR is a program of the U.S. Department of Energy and Environmental
Protection Agency.
WeatherMaster is a proud partner of ENERGY STAR and encourages
homeowners to consider ENERGY STAR labeled products in their
remodeling and home improvement plans.

SPECIAL NOTE:
When checking
U and SHGC values, make sure they are “WHOLE WINDOW” values,
not “GLASS” or “CENTER
OF GLASS” ratings. ENERGY STAR criteria only uses whole
window values which are more difficult to attain, and more closely
represent the energy efficiency of a window.
